I'm glad you can finish it. I dropped it during season two. Got boring and the character art was starting to get annoying.
Amen. Though I dropped it after a few episodes.

Now that you finished Clannad, watch all the other animes produced by KEY such as Kanon (2006) and Air if you haven't done so. I've got to say though, their best was Clannad ~After Story~. Kanon isn't that sad compared to After Story, but I watched it before Clannad. Air has a sad ending, but it's kind of a confusing anime. I do love Air's OP song <3 It's also sung by LIA, who sang Clannad ~After Story~ OP

Sad things in a story is one thing, but I cannot cope with sad endings.

My brother (5th grade) just watched Clannad and AS in 3 days on netflix the past 3 days after finishing Angel Beats in a day. Just finished it yesterday and since the PS3 is in my room, I watched too. The only sad parts for me was when they were talking about Nagisa like when he was telling Ushio about her on the train, talking about her when Fuko was there, etc.
Assuming Ep22+ are just alternative stories or situations such as if she didn't die, etc. Didn't watch them.

It's a visual novel or something and if you collect all these lights in the novel game thingy, you get "true ending" which is when she doesn't die.
