Fail Nexon, Fail.
It's their 4th fight, There's a slight chance of winning though.
Well, they freshly reuploaded the files to the FTP (according to the file timestamps). The syncing still isn't working properly, but that aside...
The "new" 97_to_98.0 still doesn't generate the proper MD5 hash. They uploaded the old file, again.
To Nexon: Before you upload the file, check that its MD5 hash matches the one listed in 97_to_98.txt. I assume you guys know how MD5 hashes work. You can calculate them for a specific file with a tool such as HashCalc, for example. If the two hashes don't match, the launcher will reject the file and try to redownload it, etc.
Maybe I should make a new thread for this, after all..
Woo, they fixed 97_to_98.0!

More extensions are on the way.
Edit: I created a new thread on Nexon forums and Sabina has forwarded this information.
Edit2:
With the help of some of their own players, we may get G15 patched after all.
see you guys fixed that pesky 97_to_98.0 file at last.
There's still the issue where some of your FTP mirrors have the old files, however...
Was that fater or before he posted this?
Yoorah posted that 5 minutes after my post according to Nexon forums time stamps. I was just a bit faster I guess. Regardless, all credit goes to Yoorah. I was just trying to get the information to the Nexon team the fastest way I knew how.
waiting for our Platform team to reload the servers so we can start our 2nd round of testing.
Now, time for the fun part. Checking for bugs.
Everyone cross your fingers, toes and put your pajamas on inside out. (Anything you think will help.)
That's ok. Figured you rushed to post that so that's why I asked if you had seen his other post.
It's cool.
Edit:
Front page officially change, it's going live folks!

So wait, the source of all this patching problem came from an encription error? No wonder it them so long to figure out.
Not an encryption error, more like. Wrong File that was old/broken. They gotta have a ton of old/new patches hanging around that are similarly named from various testing. So it's understandable that they would accidently pick the wrong one. The hashes was a way to differentiate between all of them.
Hey Guys,
just to give you guys an update, we are working on getting the servers back up as soon as possible. We ran into a small IT issues which prevented us from accessing our tools, but it is back up now and are working on the servers once again. We are still looking at launching at 7:30PM PDT but if there are any issues we will let you know.
