My tablet always stops working suddenly after staying in one usb port on the computer.
I usually just switch it to another one and it will work again.
However, I've switched it to all 6 USB ports on the computer and pressure+eraser is still failing.
It just says "Installing new device" and when it's done the tablet only works as a point and click pad =_=.
This has also happened to my keyboard and mouses before, I had to switch them often because the Vista would randomly stop recognizing them.
Is there anyway to stop this bull s---- from always happening?
I used to system restore when the USBs stopped working but I'd rather avoid it.

Already used the installation disk, it's still installed.
Without the disk, pressure and eraser still worked somehow.
After installation the tablet cursor on screen aligned with the tablet pad.

I realy thing vista has problems with usb ports.
Used a windows xp machien for 4 years, never had a single usb stop working.
Used windows vista for 6 months, and 1/4 failed on me. It was the only one i used actively, and its the one i pluged my mouse into on my laptop, so after switching to another usb it started working again.
And my laptops usb fail after trying to install a wireless mouse.
I say try the tablet on another computer, if it works then its not the tablet thats gone wrong, its your usb ports.
If you know its your usb ports, try plugging something else into each one, like a mouse or a keyboard.
If they dont work, then either somethings stopping the usb ports from connecting to your usb devices, or somethings wrong with the settings.
Try going into device manager and checking to see if you have any problems with your usbs.
