Post Requirement for certain threads?

  I feel like there should be post requirement before one can create threads? Replying is okay,
  but lately, many people with 1 post count creating a B>S> thread and never show up ever again. It gets kind of annoying

  I don't see the reason really why people only create an account to advertise their in-game stuff and never showing up again, and usually even they don't check back to the thread they posted for replies to it.
  
  It's not really annoying, but it's kinda weird to just ditch a thread made when they wanted to get more people in their guild or buying their items and such.

  But by simply participating in one or two discussions going on they would quickly achieve permissions.
  
  This approach has it's advantages but it can be risky, some forums have it with good results, as after trying to reach the needed posts most of these members tend to stick around when they wouldn't have if they could have just did what they came to do.
  On the other hand, it could increase spammy posts.

  I don't think we would, if someone wasn't going to stay anyway, then it's not really a lost member, he was never really a member after all, just dropping in a thread and never bothering to check back in.

  but with more strict rules
