Finally got FireBall! It's RE now, so I was wondering what are some of the best places to use it effectively and take advantage of its powah?
Rafting is the only one I know of because of all the mobs. My friend and I got almost 3 big stars last night.
I think Rabbie dungeon's golden goblin army might be a good place too but maybe a bit overkill? I'll have to try it out when I get back from work. Although I need something a little harder than that. Would it be useful in Karu's shining dungeons at this rank?
I have R6 Magic Mastery, 131 total mana, and 82 int with the title I always use. Yes, I'm a giant and I'm still a work in progress. Mana potions are no issue because I have herb pets and never skip mana herbs in dungeons.
Any suggestions/advice is appreciated!

Neither of those places.
15 stars (3 big) isn't really good on rafting. The average person with ranked range/magic skills can get above 70 stars (14 big stars, or 7 big in a 2 person party). Fireball uses too much MP for rafting, especially since the mobs have like 300 HP or less except for the Warriors. It also loads too slow so that you can only fire one off at each wave, and the explosion isn't big enough to hit the bulk of the wave either. Also, unlike other Range/Magic skills, you have no way to finish off any mobs that go deadly.
Gold Goblin army also isn't a good spot. You're still overestimating the radius of the explosion, and possibly again the load time.
Fireball is best suited for Shadow Missions - especially Shadow Wizard (explosion takes up about 70% of an orb room, can shoot over enemy walls, and dominates in Dorren's Request Adv starting at Rank 9), Dungeon Orb rooms with multi-spawns, or monsters with extremely high amounts of HP (Hardmode dungeons and missions). Anything else is just a waste of mana, unless you like the lulz of a slow moving nuke.

I know 3 big stars isn't all that great but I'm only lvl 300+ and all my friend did was guard the raft. It was pretty awesome for me. Gimme some slack. :<
Yeah I guess golden goblin isn't a good spot. Was just wondering. I'm not overestimating, I know the radius and I'm working on the casting time with a 245 Phoenix Fire Wand in progress. Almost enough prof for the 3rd upgrade now.
I didn't know you could shoot over walls in SM's with it. My friends and I do Shadow Wiz a lot. Daang. Thanks for the advice.

By walls I mean the Barrier Spikes, not the giant stone walls.
Ironically though, you can't shoot over player Barrier Spikes until Rank 5+, but you can shoot over any fomor Barrier Spikes no matter what rank they are.

Lions. How? You're a giant, once you Stomp them they follow you without aggro. Lure all of them and blast away.

Assumming your base cp is near ~800
Rabbie normal for F~B, Ciar Hardmode A~5 and Rundal hardmode or Adv shadow wiz/ g9 Finale mob waves for 8~1/
make well use of the orb rooms
you only need to do a few rooms in the beginning to rank it from F~9. fireball is relatively easy to rank

I heard the Dorrens Request Shadow Missions was a REAL good place to train. In that sm you can charge and than hit the switch than Cast.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've already got it to RD, I'm surprised at how easy it is to train but the ap cost is kind of high, eheh. Totally taking advantage of SM's switch rooms.
And my CP is 814.19. Nice assumption.

What Bankai231 said, Dorren's Request SM is a VERY good place for you to train FB.

Quicker probably to melee them to death.
Also, rE fireball isn't going to blow up lions.
