So, I have come back to Vindictus after a year/year and a half, and I have lost most of my Vindictus knowledge.@_@ So anyways, I have a level 42(I think? Server is down atm) Scythe Evie. Is it worth starting fresh to get back into the game, probably as a Lann or Fiona? Or should I continue with my Scythe Evie? I remember putting quite a bit of time in Evie back when I played, so I'm thinking I should probably go play her, but is level 42 a time consuming level to reach now? I have more questions, but I'll save that for my friend who plays (when the servers come back up), just wondering if anyone can give me any input while they are waiting. Thanks!

You have 1000 AP to spend, so I'd say no, don't start a new char :P

Of course you can always make new characters. I started with an Evie and then once I got to the level cap(44) I started a fiona. Then the level cap changed to 70 and I switched back to evie. I reached the level cap a while ago and I've almost gotten my fiona there too. Once I get her to 70 I'm going to start on my lann. I know it seems really repetitive but that's sort of the point in this kind of game. Once you max out everything on one char(believe me everything on my evie is maxed except for my pally trans x.x;) then you just start all over again on a different char learning different skills/fighting styles. You can always go back to ur evie, but you can also create a new char to play at the same time. So my advice is to go both ways. :)

I am probably going to start off again on my Evie, create a new character if I get bored :p Another quick question, are the skills shown by
[UB]this[/UB] guide still accurate for the most part? Any advice on ap for the new skills? (If there are any, I had heard they were some, can't check atm cause servers are still down) Thanks

you might want to consider going staff, they are much better for raids later in the game.

It doesn't really matter anyway, eventually you will have a Evie that's both staff and Scythe. I don't see the point wasting your current effort to make a pure staff Evie.

Going pure on something makes you more effective until you get all the AP you need to max out essential skills for the other weapon as well.
I think around 30k AP you don't have to worry about compromising by going hybrid anymore?
