Hamachi problem

  Alright ive exhausted nearly every idea ive tried, but i cannot ping anyone on hamachi, tried tweaking the firewall, disabling it, and setting up ports in the router. I cannot ping anyone but they can ping me. And i can ping my netbook which shares the same router as my desktop. So because of that i am inclined to think its my router causing the problem. So do you guys have any solutions?

  forwarding tcp/udp ports on the firewall won't help with ping since it doesn't use those, it uses icmp. Most user-friendly routers will have some kind of "enable icmp" or "enable ping" option somewhere. Are you able to do other things like connect to whatever it is you're supposed to be using hamachi for? If it's just pinging them that doesn't work it might be their firewalls, not yours.

  On my router i believe thats called, Block Anonymous Internet Requests, which i have unchecked at the moment. And i hadnt really tested that out because i was only using hamachi for that one thing, which it worked fine for but then just stopped responding to it. But i will try to get them to disable their firewall and see how it goes from there then.
