Seems interesting, and the technology for all of that is being worked on right now all over the world.

Wow, if they really come out with all this stuff, i'll be truely impressed. Though at the same time, it's almost like watching a scyfy. It's kinda scary to imagine that the future that humans have dreamed about, written about, and even made movies about, is a lot closer to us then we can imagine.

I think it'll look a whole less streamlined in the beginning than that video leads me to believe, but that's definitely neat that augmented reality is already being combined with comprehensively with connectivity and clouding on that level.

Well thankfully it isn't only MS working on this technology and there's going to be a lot of competition.
The're a few huge barriers left in the way of these technologies though, mostly in north america, and that's internet quality/speed and cost, both for wired and wireless. Without improving that, these devices are worth ****. There's no way you can transmit this much data on wireless devices using your 3G/4G because first of all it's probably not going to be fast enough, and second you'll hit your monthly limit in a day.
Technology developers are pushing for higher and higher bandwidth use while the bandwidth providers are pushing for increasingly limited/regulated use of their networks. This just can't keep going if we're to enjoy this stuff.
