Dragonshield for the win. I use beholder in second slot. (Mage Alchemist)

Kites and hetero's are for outfit matching, but I feel like Beholder is the best shield [not including dragon shield], regardless.

People use heater shields 'cause they are cheaper than heteros and nice colors are easier to find :o I don't use any shields but I have a pink and white Hetero

Honestly, I don't see very many Heater Shields being used on Ruairi. It's usually Hetero Kites.
If I were to use a shield though, it'd probably be the hetero, because I like how they look.

I used to use a Heater Shield for awhile until I found a decent colored Hetero (using hetero now cause of cheaper repairs - actually I think I made a thread about this in the questions&help forum when I made the transition o3o)

I don't use heaters... i find them too expensive for what their full potential is.
Heteros first have better PD upgrades, and defence doesn't really matter to a heavy armor user like myself who has r1 defence.
I guess the reason why people use heaters is because of its low repair cost and affordability, but other than that, i can't see how they use heaters
1) Heteros look cooler
2) they can be found in your color scheme!! (i lost mine though, due to channel crashing *rageeeee!!*)

I don't think so buddy- at least last I checked (at Edern Heaters repair was like 8k , while Heteros are 6k) unless nexon changed some stuff during the last few maintenances

Currently using a regular Kite Shield until I can get myself a Dragon one :awesome:
I don't see that many Heaters, the first week or so after they came I saw some :what:

I use a heater because they look neat.
I would use a Hetero but in Tarlach there like 600k I think. Got my heater for 200k. WIN.

VALES SHIELD! (I like being different). I understand why humans use Heaters though, it is definitely one of the better and better looking shields.

Am I the only person who thinks that round shields look way better than teardrop shields? Plus I value my inventory and the 2 squares saved is awesome.
I would only use a Hetero if I got my hands on a Blue/White one to match the rest of my outfit.

I will try to get one for you sometimes.
