Haha, maybe they'll get it right this time? We can only hope.

A few weeks ago, a maintenance was extended a few hours because it conflicted with the most recent Windows Update.
I'm guessing they're finally gonna try fixing the problem.

I've been away for awhile, which is why I don't know. Thanks!

Akemi, it would appear Nexon runs their servers via the Windows Server OS. You know, my computer just rebooted for a Windows update. I was wondering if Nexon was going to need to apply the new windows update as well. Looks like I was spot on.
Thus, I can safely assume from now on, that whenever my computer reboots automatically during the night for a windows update that Nexon will be having a maint to do the same shortly after :chin:
The Windows update is probably the Security Update that Microsoft just pushed out.

This maintenance is going to run over for sure. They have 4 possible Windows updates to handle this time. That's why they extended it 2 hours I bet. From 3 to 5.
Vulnerability in Active Directory Could Allow Elevation of Privilege (Important)
Vulnerability in Windows Mail and Windows Meeting Space Could Allow Remote Code Execution (Important)
Vulnerability in Windows Kernel-Mode Drivers Could Allow Denial of Service (Moderate)
Vulnerability in TCP/IP Could Allow Remote Code Execution (Critical)
More information on what's being done can be found here. -> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin

Could these be the Vulnerabilities that the bots are using to hack all these Nexon Accounts? It's a possibility and if so. This should put a halt to them temporarily.

I'm hoping this will finally banish those damned Homestead tickets that are eating up our inventory space. Non-prem users need all the space they can get.

Updates for home versions and server versions aren't the same, server updates are more infrequent but arguably more critical to be applied.
I wonder what edition they're running... 2003, 2008, 2008 R2?
