  I'm sure if her Father was in the picture, he'd have checked on her or have been mentioned in the article. So he's probably either dead, remarried, a douchewad, out of town, or something of that nature.

  Aye.. but sadly parents these days don't do sh*t to teach their kids to be such. When I was her age, I already knew how to care for both myself and my own Mom. I was an adult by the time I was 5-6. Of course, I don't wish my life upon any young child, but it's disgusting to see how parents raise their kids these days. It's their own fault their kids will turn out crappy later in life.

  @Cynic I just think that kids need more responsibility and have a happy childhood over one where they have to grow up too fast though. I'm sorry you had to grow up so fast and you're right, the ways parents raise their kids nowadays are quite sad.

  This is really sad, it would be a nightmare for the girl, now when she grows up. I hope she is fine and gets over it.
