Yahoo Search keeps hijacking my Default Search

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

happened to me once,in my case it was a a toolbar that somehow got on my computer, try to search yahoo on your computer, and just delete everything with the word yahoo in it.

This happened to me on firefox because some add-on randomly installed itself. Double check that there are no extra add-ons?

Did you install any software around the time the problem started? Odds are your problem is right there.

ionno, I installed a lot of things on this computer. I just got it so I was getting all my normal programs in, might've gotten something I don't want.
