Seriously? Why don't they stop *****ing about everything and actually help animals, you know ones that are in real life (not a fake Tanuki skin in Mario)?
But they've got a point. I mean, just yesterday after replaying Super Mario Bros. 3 I went outside, flew to Japan and skinned about 7 tanukis. I didn't even bury the bodies. I'm gonna have these sewn into a suit sometime this week. Man, Super Mario Bros. 3 really opened my eyes to the appealing world of tanuki-skinning. I don't see what the big deal is, PETA. Wouldn't
you skin a bunch of tanukis if it granted you the power of flight?

:\
While what happens to tanuki is pretty horrible and the animals do suffer a great deal, this is not the way to bring attention to that cause.

This is agreed, do we need to keep talking about skinning them -.- even if you don't mean it, it's pretty disturbing

Honestly, he makes up a nice portion of my argument.
Seriously, they're not hitting Mario on the other facts about stomping on turtles, goombas, and many other elements in the game, which can be seem 'offensive' to the PETA. Honestly, this organization has been pointing their fingers and getting laughed at for their stupidity. So what, it's a f*cking children's game. If you want help the Tanukis, then fly to Japan and make them stop skinning them for the love of god. Hell, the PETA is about psycho as the Christians that thinks Pokemon and RPGs are nothing, but devil-worship. The PETA needs to actually chase after other things, besides trying to degrade a children's video game over a single element. I would understand if it promotes killing animals in real life; however, there's a thing called 'fantasy' that these bloody moron doesn't understand.
Fantasy =/= Reality.
Besides, didn't PETA accused something else recently? I've heard their name in the articles about a few weeks ago over something. Won't surprise me if it's their stupidity running wild...
:sigh:

Anyone else feel like sending PETA a detailed list of all the games, movies and books that, in their nit-picky eyes, would condone animal abuse, wearing fur, and eating meat?
Might take forever to make, but it might be enough to make em ragequit.

Wow, I never even thought about hurting tanuki's in any way or even THINKING about them while I was playing super mario before I read this article.
Man PETA has some really messed up people working for them who try too hard to think of things in everyday life that can be related to animal cruelty...

I'm all for preventing animal abuse, but this is a step too far. PETA is a joke.
