Is there a possible way for Mabinogi not to lag when I am downloading something?
If there is then how do I make it happen?
-

No since Bandwidth is taken up when you Download and mabi takes bandwidth.

Get super internet and find a way to manage the bandwidth taken up by the download to make sure that mabi has at least 200kb/s to run with on its own.
(Might lag some, but it'll minimize the lag overall)

is it possible to manage internet so that
download gets low priority and mabi gets high priority?

No but you can make the client a higher priority then other programs, which might help.

Doesn't port forwarding take away lag when you download? I might be wrong :x

Of course, it's called a download manager.
I recommend this:
Free Download Manager | Download
When you finish installing it, use the "light mode" or "medium mode" button
[Image: http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/5357/67545987.png]
(The first and second buttons)
to reduce bandwidth used by your downloads. You can still download at a slower rate, but you won't lag in mabi.

You can always torrent Mabinogi and set it on low priority.
I torrent Mabinogi using a torrent from Mmosite.
But that's just me. =P

Um....He means something that is downloading WHILE mabi is running.

Easy. Get this:
Killer 2100
Also, there are network managers that will let you cap usage on a per-application basis.

And replacing your Modem and Router should help too.

Well...Now I feel stupid. Dx

If you have permission and know what your doing. You can always mess with your router's QoS.
Basically left "as is" out of the box, it treats all outgoing and incoming connections with the same priority.
If you change them correctly, mind you only do this if you actually know what your doing, you can set torrents, videos, ViOP, and other such bandwidth hogs to a lower "normal" bandwidth tier or even lower and the bandwidth Mabinogi uses to "priority" tier. Well you can do a lot more if you play with the QoS.
It pretty kills most of the lag you'll experience since Mabi now takes priority over downloading.
