Even though I am. It will remove the name from above my head and when I open the guild list it says I am not in one. However, when I open the guild menu it says I am still in the guild. I notice this only happens when I change characters, and it is really annoying because no matter how many times I go back to the main menu and re-enter the game it doesn't fix it. I have to exit the game completely and restart. Any way to get it to stop doing this?

Ah, yes...the well-known annoyance, known as being "guild-glitched". Unfortunately, there is no fix (or plan for one) for this issue. Nexon feels that restarting your client is an acceptable workaround. I've had intermittent success in switching between guilded characters. Sometimes it works for me, though most of the it doesn't.
Edit: In a similar vein, sometimes switching characters also prevents the friendlist from loading. Sometimes you can continue talking to people in guild chat or in 1-on-1 chat windows as the character you were previously logged in with.
P.S. I should mention that I run the game directly from the executable, which forces me to log in each time from the main menu when I switch characters. I found that when I ran the game from the website, I'd (almost?) always be guild-glitched upon re-entering the game with a different character. If it's really important that I be able to use the guild chat, I will generally restart the program just to be sure.

Well, what I've found to be very nice is that if you start it from the .exe all you have to do is click 'return to main page' and you won't have the guild-glitch when you change characters and you don't have to restart the entire client. It's very quick for character switching. I've only had it not work like, 2 times and I just have to go back to the main page and do it again. Very simple 'fix' for me.
