I think I'm going to need to take my kitten to an emergency visit to the vet today.
She threw up several times last yesterday and I can't get her to eat or drink. She's meowing still and moving but overall seems more lethargic than usual.
I just tried to get her to eat her usual food and she threw what little she did lick up a few moments later. The vomit is kind of liquidy through. I'm really concerned. Gotta wait another 3 and a half hours before I can get her to the vet though.
Not sure what happened to her. Took her home for the Holidays and my mom didn't want her in the house so I had to keep her in the backroom. She must have gotten into something out there that has her stomach irritated or something.
Poor thing :(

Does the backroom contain any trash in there or chemicals such as cleaning chemicals or antifreeze? Those can make a cat sick. The vet should be able to pinpoint what's wrong though and treat it.
Hopefully. the kitten isn't in serious condition though. I don't like it when pets get sick.

I don't like cats, but I hope Chen isn't too sick.

I don't think there's any chemicals in the backroom. Not sure if it was some of the food the kids were putting out there from thanksgiving dinner or if it was something from the top portion that she kept sleeping on.

Sounds more like an illness than poisoning, since she keeps throwing up a lot.
Stomach virus?

Well I still don't know what it was. Vet cost me over $300. She seems to be doing fine now. They gave me some special dietary food to give her a little bit for 5-7 days and suggested to feed her a little baby food as well. Then to ease in her usual diet bit by bit.
Could have been anything really. X-rays didn't reveal anything.

Well, I'm glad she seems to be doing better. Always makes me sad when animals are hurt or sick.
