Topic says it all: My dog had puppies at 7:30 AM local time today. They're all black miniature poodles, 7 boys and 1 girl. One of the boys was born dead, so we have a total of 6 puppies. They're rather small (not a lot of place to grow and develop with all of that crowding), but they'll grow. Mom is a black mini poo and dad is a white mini poo (int CH. and US CH.). We'll be selling said puppies in a few months starting at 1,000 USD (650 pounds sterling and roughly 1000 AUD). Pictures will be up once they're ready.

Somehow, I don't feel like being mini is enough of a distraction from being a poo that I am less grossed out, but the puppies did the trick.

anyway congratulations! All the dogs I've had were fixed so we never had puppies, but an old cat of mine had kittens and it was wonderful (though disgusting because she gave birth underneath my parents' bed. at least our flooring was wood)
sorry about the pup that didn't make it :(

btw I love pups so I look forward to those pictures

Aaaw, I remember when my mom's dachshund had puppies. She only had 3, all girls buuuut she was also really tiny so it's good she didn't have more.

This is a picture of a puppy that we had last year at the same 'stage', but white. This was taken at 1 day old, same as the current litter now. Just image it slightly darker? EDIT:::: Real ones are much smaller when compared in proportion to that one. Maybe 3/4 as big?

Moar puppy news: Lots of lazy ones that like sleeping. The girl and a boy are really skinny, but we're thinking that they don't suffer from any kind of malnourishment and that they'll be fine. Three or so big fat ones. There's one that's really fat that likes pushing... and crying. He always looks for the biggest teat he can find, and if that's taken, he just pushes his sibling aside with his paw. Puppy kung-fu, anyone? He likes to cry while he's suckling. And when he's resting. And crawling. And I think he cries in his sleep. Thank god they all sleep in my mom's room.
