In short, I have a short and curly afro that gets nappy easily. I keep trying to pick it, which works, but it always looks uneven.
Some strands stick out, some parts look pointed, some parts of the afro look uneven with other parts of it and it seems like no matter how much I pick it, it won't get even!
I usually don't do many things with my hair, so I assume I'm missing something. What do I have to do to get a nice, even looking afro all around? Do I have to use a different chemical or a special pick or comb or brush?
The pick I use now is a bit broad, so I kinda feel like that's part of the issue.
