Wrong. A majority of active people's mains are still accessible. And you're dead wrong if you think rolling back even a day after G15 launched would have caused as big of an outcry as the rollback caused by the first weekend character data stopped saving. This whole thing started because Nexon NA tampered with already corrupt patch data. If they'd just waited for Korea to send them an uncorrupted patch then no one would be at the mercy of faulty programming that might or might not be fixable. They already have a pretty large data pool for locked out characters, and they still have no solution. They'd have an even larger data pool if you factored in all the people who are banned or who have quit that don't even know if their characters are currently locked out. Also, it's highly likely that anyone claiming to be no longer locked out had nothing to do with Nexon fixing it in any capacity, or else there would be an announcement about them making progress.
More than a quarter (possibly as high as a third) of all pre-G15 characters being locked out might not be a majority, but I assure you it's nothing small enough to be waved off as a minority.
A rollback as soon as this started (since unlike the data saving issue, they still don't know how to repair this) would have saved them a lot of grief. Quick rollback, a day or two of Double Rainbow to appease the masses (who will complain even during the best of times), and waiting a week (not like G15 wasn't already a month overdue) for a properly working G15 patch. Instead, we've got a problem completely exclusive to NA because people who don't normally work on Mabi's programming decided to touch it anyway. And, if what I'm hearing is true, the problem is spreading to some characters just as randomly as it is wearing off from others. But whatever. You can still play most of your characters. It doesn't really affect you, so it's clearly a minor issue, right?
I've never claimed it's a minor issue or one not worthy of attention. I just maintain that rollbacks are terrible ideas and that people should give nexon some slack for not being able to fix a randomly occuring issue.
And sure, I'm biased and can look at this objectively because I have access to most of my characters, anyone would be. That doesn't mean I don't want to see the issue fixed. I am all for them putting their resourcves into problem solving rather than crappy events.

The thing is Nexon should grows some Balls and Say Sorry Players we have found Faulty Data within the Patch as as our Value customers we are going to wait another week or so for a Unfaulty Patch then we wont risk causing any trouble to our players and the game

I'd be all for that if this were a foreseeable issue. NexonKR doesn't know what to do about this because it's a problem caused by NexonNA. It's not like a glitch that we just ride out because KR's patch history shows that they eventually fixed it after patch number x point x; there's a high chance that we will never see a fix for this. When the Friends List and housing were down, sure, the issues didn't get fixed immediately, but Nexon gave us a date for which we could expect both to be fixed, and gave an unprecedented level of generous compensation. They fixed it with days to spare from their deadline. They didn't continue to give updates for it because they had a solution they were optimistic about.
What we have here instead is them tossing their hands up and saying "I don't know," shrugging, and hoping people will forget about it if they just don't bring it up again. The same reaction a three-year-old would have after breaking Aunt Miriam's favorite antique. A rollback is the best option when there is no proper alternative. If it can't be fixed, then waiting three months makes the feasibility of a rollback impossible for obvious reason. On the other hand, setting back a day or even a week's worth of progress would have been manageable, even if frustrating/infuriating. I didn't complain during the week-long rollback for the character data/gold duping, and I was active that whole week. What's 24 hours of rollback when the game had been down for half of the week because they were still trying to get the G15 patch to work?
My rage over it isn't even that strong anymore. I don't care if they don't have a solutiion, but I expect them to announce it to my face and that of every other locked out player on a weekly basis until it's fixed. "We still don't know how to fix it." That's all. That's not too much to ask. It doesn't change my situation but if they can't be assed to put in the effort to say it as much as is necessary, then I'm not exactly keen on exercising the notion they're doing everything they can, you know?

We shouldn't forget that they knew characters would get locked out and they still went with it.

Well, I'm still locked out. I guess now I'm in the same boat as everyone. Was kind of hoping I'd be fine since I got locked out only recently. Ah, well.

Months of work? Think of last time when there was around weeks or work...
During the last big rollback, a lot of people lost things they've worked so hard far, and had to redo it. I don't think anyone wants to go through something like that all over again.

I understand where you're coming from, but you can't just do that. I'd love for it to be that simple, but just cause we're f*cked doesn't mean we have to bring the rest of the community with us.
"Only a month's worth of work."
You know how much time a month is? It's a lot of times spent on Mabinogi if you played as actively as me.

Couldnt they just make a Copy of the Character files and Insert it into the old patch too that way they can just redo the G16 Patch ?

Sometimes I think that the only reason this stuff doesn't happen to me is because I get bored of Mabi and take long breaks. I have never been locked out or anything.
