Well, there's not that many. So a silly, short guide here we go!
One
Cast spells!
Two
Stun monsters! Great for completing use #1 safely, getting jumpy monsters to hold still so you can kick them to death, or even looting items when you're feeling too lazy to kill the jumpy monsters at all.
Three
Trigger levers and switches and stuff!
Four
Turn finishes into gets! Much faster than any of the alternatives, and me likey getting loot faster *o*
Five
"Kicking" Labyrinth golden balls! IT IS SO MUCH EASIER THAN KICKING!
Six
I lied! I don't know of anymore. I'd be very interested to hear if someone else does! :3

Someone used it to negate the damage of Titan's spear throw once. I think it was just because it changed evie's stance instead of actually having invinc. Frames.

It provides some level of resistance to knockdown, and few things will interrupt the actual casting animations
This would only come into play when intentionally tanking hits for the sake of creating a damage opening when there really isn't one

Yeah, it's a bit weird but it does provide a weird sort of super armor
if you have mana shields. It won't do a thing if you don't.
It's pretty much never worth doing unless you're going to do a speedrun on something that'll only get to hit you a few times.

Does that seriously activate it?
lmao wow

Yes. It seriously does. You can also get hit by someone's Agony/Misery debuff by shooting them with a ballista.
Not sure about the Colrupults though.

I actually have activated Chaos countless times during use #4.
