  It's not sarcasm, and just because YOU don't consider a fetus a baby doesn't mean I don't consider a fetus a baby. How about before you try "schooling" someone, you step back and shut up. You obviously have no experience in how heartbreaking a miscarriage is.

  While I don't consider a fetus a baby, I think a mother losing a fetus she actually wants is pretty sad. Still, she has enough children. 45 isn't a good age to have them, either. I wonder how well off they all are, considering how many of them there are (though I'll assume some of them are old enough to not live at the house...?)

  A fetus is not a baby, but that doesn't stop someone from assigning whatever emotional value they want to it. Then again, the same can be said about pretty much anything, though of course there are trends.

  it is their child
  whether it's born or not
  it's something that grows inside of you
  the second you find out you're pregnant if you're not a complete moron and horrible parent you grow an instant attachment to that "fetus"
  maybe you'll understand that one day if you're fortunate enough to have children
