And I'm in a conflict, I'll be applying at Publix (Grocery store chain down here) but, if I do I'll be working at the one behind my neighborhood. If things work out with my friends, I'll be moving in with them on the other side of town. Would it be possible for me to ask for a transfer to another Publix in that area of town, or would I have to search for a new job over there?
Also, since I'll be 18, legally an adult in October. I'll be (hopefully) moving out after Christmas next year at the earliest, I'm just concerned if there's anything I'd need to do with my school. Such as talk w/ a counselor, fill any forms, etc...?

You should probably ask your Publix personal manager. They might be more informed on the transferring ability/information.

Does your general store sell faygo?

You might need to talk with a counselor or a psychiatrist, if you seem to experience problems.

1) Ask for a transfer to a different store or apply for a new job, it'll likely be a new job though.
2) Might want to double-check with a counselor, so you don't get any mistakes.
2b) You will have to get transfer papers and just fill-out some simple paperwork.

Can someone even afford to go to such services on a grocery store pay? I thought grocery store pays like minimum wage...

Why? ._.

I don't think there'd be any reason for you to have to talk to your school about getting a job/moving out/possibly transferring. Only reason you'd need to talk to them at all is to change your address and/or phone number. And whatever other contact info they have on you.
But on the transfer issue, you'd need to talk to the manager of the store you're applying to.
But that's all just guesswork on my part, not personal experience.
