why are Raider's Twin Spears not considered any good, is it because of the low balance?

Balance and attack are nearly nothing compared to a regular braid tassel twin spears, but it has a noticably higher critical chance. If you're doing the higher level dungeons with spears, you would be better off with a clean braid tassel than a raider's twin spears. Something better would be the raider's twin swords, because then you at least have a chance of invinciblity, but even then its attack woldn't be quite up to par with dreamwalker twin swords.

Note: The green numbers mean that weapon has the highest of that stat out of all compared weapons.

but ppl have told me that the braid tassel spears lack reach.
A lot ppl would say Piasraspear is the best spear to have so far.

Reach for most spears is about the same, but if you have a maxed Fury infusion and slashing high, reach won't really matter because by then you can be spinning your head off, I heard somewhere that the higher your attack speed, the farther you go for each revolution in spin2win. I have tried that myself, and it works.

Looking at these stats, I would agree that an enhanced and enchanted Piasraspear would be, potentially, the best spears available, but you have to take into account the cost for the materials.

The thing about Braid Tassels lacking reach is no longer the case. Back when they first came out, it's true their range was VERY limited. However, one of the updates fixed that and they now have the same reach as the other level 61 spears. I've also heard about Piasraspears being the best kind, but go ahead and get tons of Colru's Shiny Stone drops. . .yeah, making them is like making Raider's Twin Swords; Expensive and frustrating.

Cost is the major factor.

Cost for one Raider twin spears can be made into 3 ~ 5 Braid depending on your luck (cost of mats fluctuates)
Cost for one Pierspears can be made into about 2 ~ 3 Braid as well.

When going for high enhancement level (past +8), you most likely will break a tons of weapon before you reaching desired level, therefore, picking a lower cost to make and yet similar in stats to enhance is the best option.

I would say Raider's Spears are the best just because of the crit, honestly. A *good* spear Lann uses crit to stay alive.

But most spear Lanns don't spear Lann the fun way anymore so I guess that's a moot point.
