Seal Protector Jigeuranteu(Zigrint)
One of 4 bosses that has been updated in episode 10, Jigeuranteu(Zigrint), who uses thunder, is the first boss you meet in the story.
As you expect from a top-tier raids, Zigrint has high damage, tricky patterns, and high HP, so you better gear yourself up before you embark.
Zigrint has un-defendable pattern and one-shot kill pattern which doesn't even allow life flare, but he has similar aspects with Elkulus(Ep.9.5 Dragon which we will meet em shortly.. I hope)
His pre-attack delay is quite noticeable, so it's not quite hard to learn his patterns.
Let's learn how to dodge and react to Zigrint, the seal keeper's patterns with this walk-through.

Zigrint Fight Information
Normal raid and Knights raid available:
There’s two types of Zigrint raid. One is normal raid and the other is Knights raid, but they have the same drops.
Normal raid is just like other raids, one successful run per day, 8man party of lv 60~70s.
Knights raid is 3 successful runs per week, party of 24 people with 8 level 40~59s, and 16 lv60~70s.
Equipment Provided:
Zigrint raid’s map has 8 catapults and 4 small bomb depots. Small bomb depots replenish small bombs unlimitedly.
Small bombs can be used to interrupt and drop Zigrint when he goes into his ‘snatch-off-the-ground’ pattern.
Catapult is crucial in Zigrint raid. It interrupts Zigrint’s lapidify pattern, preventing him from replenishing his HP.
40~59 level users who runs Zigrint raid via Knights raid method can’t fight with dragon, so they take these catapults.
But catapults become really handy when Zigrint’s HP has been reduced by a certain amount. It is important to shoot catapult when he uses his lapidify pattern after his HP has been reduced by a certain amount, so stand by the catapult when he’s in anything else than lapidify pattern.
-(see the pattern walkthrough for more specified use of equipment)

Chain-electric shock
Any pattern that has Lightning’s form, such as thunderbolt and breath, has a splash effect around a user that has been hit by an attack.
If you fail to dodge Zigrint’s lightning attacks, other players around you will take damage also.
If you get electric-shocked, you will get a debuff that reduces your HP. This debuff ignores your Def, so users with high Def will still take significant amount of damage.

Break-offs

â–²
Zigrint's break offs are head, left wing, right wing, and tail.

Ground pattern
Charge:

Zigrint’s charge pattern is his fastest attack.
But it’s pre-attack motion is large, so it should be easy to know beforehand and dodge.
He changes his feet’s location to charge, so you can still predict his charge attack even if you are attacking under his leg.
If you are the target of his charge attack, you will be hit by 2~3 times depending on your location. You will still take damage even if you get TOUCHED by his leg.
You will be attacking is leg for the most part, so don’t try to attack him unnecessarily when he’s charging.

Tail Whip:

He smashes ground once with his tail and swipes it left and right. It has large range, but it’s pre-attack motion is slow and can be easily distinguished by sound.
It’s easy to dodge or defend, and the attack itself is quite long, so it’s an ideal timing for dealing damage or using pots.
Zigrint’s tail itself is the range. He also moves his hind legs, and if you get hit by his leg, you will take damage.
But not all of his hind leg deals damage; It’s safe to attack him in the front of his hind legs. (Where his toenails are)
Notice that tail whip’s range will be significantly reduced when you break off his tail.

Bullet-Shaped Breath:

As you see in the video, when he uses breath pattern with his body and front legs high, he used bullet-shaped breath.
Danger-zone is where he looks at, and because he lifts his body up and smashes down, front legs and his upper body will also have a hit-box that will deal damage to users.
It’s crucial that you distinguish bullet-shaped breath and spraying breath. It has shorter post-delay, which means you have shorter time to prepare for his next attack. If you mistake bullet-shaped breath with spraying breath, you might get hit by his next pattern.
Also, bullet shaped breath will trigger chain-electric shock.
[Image: http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/4027/222ge.jpg]
Spraying Breath:

Unlike bullet-shaped breath, it shoots out faster. Because Zigrint shoots his breath two times, it provides a good amount of time to attack him.
First, he shoots once closely to his head,
Second, he shoots out from his right to left, drawing a half-circle.
You can get hit twice by his second breath depending on your location, so watch out.
Since spray breath attacks longer, it is ideal for attacking or drinking pots.
Zigrint moves his tail violently when he uses spray breath, and you will take damage if you get hit by it, so be careful when you approach him from behind.
Spray breath also triggers Chain-electric shock.
[Image: http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/4027/222ge.jpg]
Thunderbolt:

He raises his head up when he uses his thunderbolt. It is the most challenging pattern.
Also, his thunderbolt is NOT defendable. It will also pierce through mana amber.
If a circle forms under your character, it means that the thunderbolt will strike shortly, so you better get out from its range quickly.
However, it’s common that you get hit by a thunderbolt even if you think you dodged it by a split second. So bottom line is this: It’s hard to dodge, so it’s better for you to check if he’s going to use thunderbolt or not before attacking.
Thunderbolt can strike wherever Zigrint wishes, so he doesn’t use it specifically on someone. Because of that, he doesn’t turn around when using thunderbolt.
Thunderbolt triggers chain-electric shock.
[Image: http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/6448/pointformpatt00005.jpg]
Random Thunderbolt:

It has longer preparation time compared to normal thunderbolt, and thunderbolts strike in an order. He only strikes around him, so players far away from Zigrint are safe.
It doesn’t specifically target on someone so it does not strike right under Zigrint. It very spaciously positioned and slows, so it should be easy to dodge.
Random thunderbolt triggers chain-electric shock.

Air Pattern
How to defend against his air pattern
Keep your eyes on Zigrint when he takes off from the ground. You should distinguish his lapidify pattern, and it is crucial to correctly discern his pattern in order to minimize any damage.
There's two mid-air pattern and since two patterns have different ways to deal with it, so you better know how to identify them. You can identify between two patterns by watching how high Zigrint flies. If he approaches from high above, in direction of either ruins or cliff, he will use mid-air breath. If he approaches low to snatch players, he approaches from low-hills.

â–² - You can distignuish his attacks by the direction he approaches.

â–² - snatch pattern
Air Breath:

This pattern, Zigrint will flys around air, and homing breath to player.
Its very easy to define the pattern however the attacks follows the player and since you cant avoid, unless you know how to dodge him it’s very easy to be wiped out by this pattern.
To dodge, just run toward the breath, if your distance is far from Zigrint you wont be able to dodge him, there for its good to stay near middle of map.
If you are at the edge of the map, you won't be able to dodge his air-breath since you won't have enough time to run.
Watch how he flies around the map, and if he flies as an air-breath pattern, simply move to the center of the map and run towards him.
Air Breath triggers chain-electric shock.
[Image: http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg815/scaled.php?server=815&filename=27187587.jpg&res=medium]
â–² If your too far from Zigrint, you cant dodge the attack
[Image: http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/6448/pointformpatt00005.jpg]
Snatch:

To avoid this snatching pattern, unlikely Air breath running toward cliff or ruin is the best idea.
However, if you already have his agro, there is no use running, so it would be better to all if you stay away from other players and stay alone since he will snatch everyone around.
This pattern completely ignores players defense, HP, and life flare. Meaning that this skill is instant one-shot kill.
However it’s a pattern for Karok to Clash and by using small bomb(gives out from four corners of map) you can you can bring him down long as you throw at right time.
If any players do get snatched, Zigrint will fly bit high and throwing players away, so there is no chance to crash in to Crack Digger.
Also, Evies can safely avoid this pattern so there is no point for Karok or Fiona to have to take the risk and staff Evies can throw small bombs in middle and avoid with Mana Amber.
If there is no Staff Evies(how ever there will be, mostly), Sword Lann can always dodge Zigrint by using Slip Dash, and Nimble Dash.
Unlikely to be attacked in snatching pattern so it’s good time to repair your armor or drink potions.
[Image: http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/8806/pointformpatt00000.jpg]
Air Pattern change:
If Zigrint doesn’t find any player to snatch while he is in the air
He change his pattern to Air Breath right after flying around once.
If so, it puts some players that are at edge to unable to avoid/dodge the breath.
So if there's skilled player who can dodge Zigrints snatch, it's always a good idea to lure Zigrints in the middle to dodge his snatch so that other party members don't get snatched

Lapidify

When Zigrint’s HP is low , he starts to fly low, getting away from Players howling, and sudden lapidify to heal HP.
.
At this time, if you don’t use Caterpillars to stop Zigrint healing it will take much long time to kill him
Therefore players must stop him fast.
If success, players stops the Zigrints healing its own HP and put him down for few moment
If fails, he will un-lapidify self and heal HP.
