Bystanders were left bemused by the sight of a bear in a rubbish truck in the centre of Vancouver.
The British Columbia Conservation Officer Service believes the bear began its journey in North Vancouver earlier in the day.
The bear was tranquilised and caught in a tarpaulin as it fell from the truck. It was later taken to a rural area away north of the city.

Damned bears, they should pay to take the bus like the rest of us.

Who needs biological corridors when bears can ride trucks?

Bears are so adorable when they are tranquilized where they can't hurt you. D'awww.
Wildlife never ceases to amaze me.
