Well me and my family are going on a vacation to Guanajuato Mexico. We are going to be gone for until January 9th and we're leaving Friday. I'm pretty sure I'll have access to a computer, but just in case I might be quite for a while, not that I'm normally super talkative or anything. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures and share them if you would all like :D

Mexican here, chill. Guanajuato is one of the few "safe" places, OP should be safe as long as he doesn't do anything silly and sticks to the tourist spots.
That being said, Guanajuato is a freaking awesome state with so many places to visit. Depending on what stuff you like OP, you'll sure find something to entertain yourself.

Oh, and make sure that, whatever you do, you get the following to take home: 1 bottle of rompope, and 1 jar of cajeta.Nothing compares to the rompope and cajeta they make in there, nothing. If you lurk around the thread and need any tips I'll be glad to share them. Enjoy your stay, and watch out for those mummies 8D
