  It makes it MUCH easier since you can place a huge amount of blocks in a short amount of time

  it's much easier that way
  instead of placing block by block like everything else you can have it automatically generate structures and then just adjust things from there

  If the mods aren't working, you're installing them wrong. What exactly are you trying to use, and how is it failing?
  
  As for being extremely unfair, it takes the same amount of skill and the same eye for design, just less time. Given that everyone has a full month to do it unless they notice it belatedly... I'm not really sure time constraints are too much of an issue. But again-- there's no magic reason mods won't work for you. If they're screwing up, they can be troubleshot.
  
  Also, yay, finally more people. I don't feel so lonesome. Time to get back to work I guess haha... Kinda gave up since I figured the contest would just get disbanded due to lack of people.

  I made mods legal (lol) because I won't ****ing know who used mods like MCedit and who didn't, there is absolutely no way for me to be able to know whether or not they followed all the rules. So I put mods in there to just save me the freaking trouble.
