  Interesting. That is a possible option, I'll look into it. My new computer will have 12GB of RAM, so I hope I'll be fine. (It was originally 8GB, but they added an extra 4GB for whatever reason.)

  Well, yeah - I would feel guilty about buying a lot of dyes and selling them. I'd rather just play the game and see how well I can manage. I think I will ultimately try out the badge and see if it's worth it. I'm just curious if someone has used it before and swears by its effectiveness.

  To avoid confusion, I'll say this here. All Closed Beta testers got permanent hair that offers +7 Luck. It is impossible to get one of these now. I used a Novice Badge for a month after Ep9's release. Those two combined gave me 114 luck. I got nearly nothing of worth from my daily raids, and it really just wasn't worth it.
  
  To demonstrate my point, I've gotten more rare drops in the month where I started using my NX hair and without a badge (100 luck) then in the month where I had both (114 luck). It mostly boils down to real life luck. Of course both times I had Divine/Luck blessings (these add +10 Luck, I THINK).
  
  But really, just don't bother with the badges. Evie can't even abuse the extra defence from the badge either. If you REALLY want to use the badge, wait until you're level 61 and can run all the raids, especially Colru and Glas. (Shiny Stone = 13m. Glas Pants = 18-19m)

  Ah. That's a bit more concise. When you were talking about the NX Hair plus the badge did you mean you had 107 luck vs. the 114 luck you had with the badge?
  All in all, these stones seem to be the way to go. Getting 30 luck stones is cheaper than the badge and it helps everyone. So yeah. That's a plus.

  Their prices have dropped a lot as of late, you can find a bunch of 13m Shiny Stones on the MP at any given time.
  And honestly I stopped watching Glas Pants prices as I really don't want to bother with them. But they were already down to 18m or so when I bought the one I used for my Raider's Large Shield.
  
  And I was mainly comparing 114 luck to 100 luck. There's a notable difference in bonus cores, but I still got terrible drops with the extra core or two every day.

  Sorry if my wording is confusing, the whole drop system is a bit of a mess in general (as is the Luck stat).

  Hahaha! No it's my fault entirely, I understand your explanation - it's just that I'm not all too familiar with the Vindictus system.
  I really appreciate your (as well as every-one's) input. I feel a lot better going back to Vindictus, now that my understanding has increased.
  I would have been more lost otherwise. :tea:

  8GB will definitely be enough. 6GB would be enough to play without any lag at all (well, coming from the RAM, anyway). 4GB would be "playable", so long as the rest of your computer can handle running two games at once.

  If you ever want something, you can always buy it back off the marketplace later. It's not like it'll go anywhere or you'll lose money by selling it. Chances are, though, you'll never want 99% of your things later.

  Your GPU and CPU will still need to be able to handle having two instances of the game open, but this isn't nearly as harsh. The reason RAM would be a problem is because you're going to need to run a second operating system with a VM, too. Not very taxing on CPU/GPU, but very taxing on RAM.

  Thanks for showing your concern! I probably won't do it considering I can just use my old computer, but I was merely curious to see if it could be done.
  In the end, I learned something new about these virtual-machine thingys ... So yeah, I don't want to risk getting banned.
