  Black versions exist in the game files, but they have never been released before.
  Personally I don't mind them not recycling items, it means more new items mainly.
  
  In essence, I find this event is 80% afking and 20% planting pistols. So this feels every bit as bad as an afk event, which are one type of event I just hate. While I didn't do the glitch myself, I can really see why people with less time and patience (but wanted the wings) would do the glitch.

  I was a bit disappointed when I saw the Santa Claus hat being recycled. I bought it with NX (it came in a package) from the last Christmas event because I thought it was a one time deal. As for getting coupons from the boxes, I'm having horrible luck. Like straight 1's in a row for like 5 times ... I think I'll just get the 5 runes and not worry about the wings lol

  If you buy tickets with nx and do the glitch you can get runes for about 5 dollars. Kind of want to do that. Just to stock up for the Dragon update.
  Will take about 3 hours if the glitch works every time though.

  And Vindi isn't usually 'good' about recycling event items. The Devil Horn Headbands for example weren't reused this year, with Nexon opting to use the Mummy Shroud. There still runs a chance that Nexon won't recycle them.
  
  You either need luck boosting items or Divine Blessings anyways to get 3 boxes a run. You get 2 per run on Hard, and you'll need a luck booster to get to 3. NX tickets are of course another option, but they also cost 600NX each. We could probably do the math for if the tickets are more efficient then buying the runes directly, but I don't feel like doing so.
  
  Also the time investment is absurd for an event.
  1 round takes 7 minutes to finish, 8 including boat relaunching and all.
  1 round also provides 3 crates, averaging 6 coupons per run.
  
  270/6 = 45 runs (on average).
  That's 6 hours.

  I missed 2 or 3 days on both of my characters, so I just stopped trying for this event. Got wings on my characters like a week ago, so I'm pretty satisfied.
