Radio Interfering with my Mic.

I don't know if I've posted here already about this, but this problem is really pissing me off.
Anyways, as some of you know, my mic picks up the nearby Mexican radio station. This **** literally goes through my mic. The metal part acts like a receiver, and then it plays out the other end. Sometimes it just interfers so that whoever I'm talking with hears Mexicans singing. Sometimes it even goes through my God damn speakers. Sometimes its not just singing. Theres extremely loud feedback. I'm talking deafening feedback. And I usually have my speakers up pretty damn high. This fixes when I pull out my mic.
What sucks is that I'd really use my mic a lot if it weren't for this problem.

Does anyone know how to fix this? The guys at the radio station are really sh*tting on me:shoe:

Buy non-cheap mics and speakers.

The reason yours are picking up on things like that is because they're not shielded to protect against outside interference. For many people this isn't an issue and shielding makes the cable/electric components more expensive, so many cheap consumer products aren't shielded.

The fix is to buy shielded equipment.

EDIT: Not like I'm talking a $75 mic or something like that, just check the boxes and make sure it mentions shielding (or the cable type starts with an S instead of a U).

Wrap the mic in foil, see if it helps.
