I colored it last period. We did nothing but draw stuff, so I made use of my time and grabbed some colored pencils.

All done in pen and illustration marker. It was drawn in one of my notebooks. :/

Your coloring is brilliant. Did you use only 1 pen, or..?

CYNIC! I missed you :>
I used two, actually. A blue ballpoint and a black Prismacolor Illustation Pen.
Too bad the Prismacolor one died and the store I bought it at ran out. :<

I was curious~ I always love seeing people do such great shading/different hues of one color.
It looks amazazing.

You probably wouldn't notice it, but I used thin markers on the first one. They were just lying around on the desks in a bin in the math skills room, so I experimented with the colors last period. Apparently dark purple makes a wonderful shadow, while the lighter blues act as a 'color-drain' effect.

I only recently tried experimenting with detailed shading/coloring/lighting with pens and colored pencils myself, so I keep fanboying over traditional art like this.
I see what you mean now that I look closer at it, though. I'd love to see you do one with.. purple or hell, even yellow. Though I imagine the latter would be kind of annoying. xD

I've recently noticed that Royal Blue and Plum mix really well. If I do yellow, I can use a light brown like I did for my Victorian outifit and make a blind/gold color. If I press harder in some areas, I can shade it, and then gradually loosen the grip to make it lighter. I did that with my Aeris drawing where I blended blues and purple.

Ohyes@ the second one. If I saw this in real life, it'd be 500x more vibrant.
