TL;DR: Walmart makes too much money and owns everything

Problem is, not a lot of people have a good work ethic nowadays, and, work experience (not work quality) along with a suit and tie for a single day can be get you a job if everyone else sucks and that position that just became available needs to be filled. Looking good is easy.

I have tried. But how would you feel after 9 hours of cleaning, and not just simple cleaning, hardcore cleaning, to have it ruined in 24 hours. I gave up. Nobody appreciated it anyway. And of course I'm biased but I'll tell you, the maintenance we have suck ass. I end up doing their job way better then them.
