Could i reuse parts from my old computer?

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

I'm also using my old graphics card because my newer one died. Its not very good but its better than not getting a screen at all.

Hard drive? Most likely, unless it's really ancient. You need to make sure it's a SATA drive, that is, it has a small data cable, as opposed to the big wide ribbon cables old drives used.
Same goes for your optical drive.
You can almost certainly reuse your old sound card.
RAM, probably not. I'm guessing your old RAM is DDR2? New motherboards tend to only support DDR3. They are incompatible.

Don't try to downstep for older ones just to keep your old DDR2 RAM.

If anything RAM is the less expensive parts for a computer so you can always just replace it with new ones.

And the RAM you selected is fine, although I personally don't like tall heat spreaders. They're more cumbersome to install and can interfere with a large CPU cooler, should you choose to go for that some time later. ):
