Seems fine to me. The reviews say so too.
The only problem is the strange shape and that the speakers are only sub-par.

It's probably okay for a typical (crappy but cheap) TN-based monitor.
If you're willing to spend around $70 more, you should get this instead:
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=320-2736
It's an e-IPS based display, and is as such in a tier way above your usual TN displays.

I found the same model on Newegg and it instantly shaved $20 off of the price. I'll have to talk to my dad about it. Thanks Yoorah I'll try to persuade my dad to get it sooner or later o:.
@edit: Yoorah can you tell me the resolution difference between 1980x1080 and 1980x1200? My monitor currently runs 1980x1200 and I'm just wondering whats the different if its a small or large difference.

Make yourself an image in paint at those resolutions, easiest way to see for yourself.

You shouldn't set your monitor's res to higher than what it supports. D:
Osayidan meant for you to use a graphics editing program like MS Paint, where you can draw a rectangles with the same dimensions as the resolutions you want to compare.
And keep in mind that Newegg does not ship for free, while Dell does. Newegg is still cheaper, though... but maybe you can talk to the live rep on Dell and see if they will be willing to price match (+ free shipping)? :3
To be completely honest, however, I'm not entirely convinced that it is your monitor at fault here. I don't see why it would care about the game being fullscreen or not. D: But if you have good reason to be sure of that, then by all means. x(

I dunno, I'm just trying to convince myself that its my monitor, I'm just completely assuming this because other people had the " No Signal " problem.

Oh, well if it's a common issue for that specific monitor model, then you're probably right. Monitors usually last a really long time (as opposed to graphics cards). I had no idea they could be so crappily built. D: But then again, it's Acer, so... >_>

From my understanding everything is good except for the capacitors o:.

Well, yeah. And the reason they went bad is because a cheap brand was used. Typical Acer. :|

Bump, My mom used my monitor all day and she had no problems, after I got my monitor back an had a monitor problem I had opened up my case to check if the fans were all tight and while I was at it I found out the GPU was pretty damn hot, could this be a GPU problem? Maybe I don't need a new monitor but a GPU.
