Desert or Coral

Ok, I've been thinking about getting a poison Snake, but I'm not sure which one to buy. I know the Coral Cobra has better Mana growth, but the Desert Cobra has better melee stats. Though the little melee damage they do would probably be over shadowed by the poison damage anyway. I'd probably not milk it that much, because I don't use melee that much, so I'll most likely rely on my pet to poison my target.

Does anyone have any advice about it. I did read this thread about the snakes, but it doesn't go into which is better.

The poison should work for both melee and ranged, i have a desert one and just have it attacking enemies to poison them.

Anyway, you wont have to milk it much if its just going to be your "die from poison dumb monster" pet. Just send it out, have it attack the enemy a few times with melee, then desummon. usualy poisons first go, if i realy need it poisoned fast ill have counter set on a hotkey, or just have continues attack and inturupt the enemy so my snake can keep attacking.

I would personaly go with the cheapest.

Yes, it's got 25 blocks and the Coral had 24. It's also a little cheaper.

Thanks. I'm a mage so I like to keep my distance. Having the pet do the poisoning would help me keep my distance and prevents agro before I've got Thunder charged
