Okay so I've been looking around and have yet to find a single place telling the best armor prgression for Fiona. I've currently at level 39 using Erg River (knew the earlier sets through word of mouth and did the quest for this set and found out it was awesome). But I'm still not sure what to get next or when to upgrade. Most Lann guides I've seen have weapons and armor section, but not the Fiona ones. So I'd appreciate it if you could tell me what armors should be next on my list, weapon suggestions would be welcome as well.

Well, you might as well go for Spider Lord -> Laghodessa for armor. After that you can either go Shining Will, or skip directly to your Lv. 61 set of choice (there are enough topics on this).
Weapons... I really don't know Hammers. But for Swords, you can use the upgraded version of the Ainle Longsword until you can get the Ivory Longsword. From there you either want the Holy Defender or the Dreamwalker Longsword.
Hammers is probably something like Stigma until the Ivory Hammer and then either Chiulin, Shining Clap, or Black Hammer.
Shield wise. For small. You can run the Eagle Heart for a while, and you might be able to get an Ewysnoch Shield (something like that) for relatively cheap as it's a boss drop. After that you either want to get a Knight Shield, or you can get any of the smaller Jirkal Shields. Save the Queen isn't too expensive either.
Large shield, you can easily use the Kite Shield for the long time, but feel free to upgrade to the Crasher Shield (or whatever it's called). Then take any of the Lv. 61 ones, with Grand Cross and Jirkal being the best options for money saving.

Wow, thank you so much. I had actually completely forgotten about the Spider Lord armor. Guess it would've helped if I mentioned I was a sword user. Thanks again +rep.

No problem. I might as well tell you my personal progression that I took while I was leveling up.
I went from Ainle Longsword -> Two Faced King (but the Ainle Longsword : Blood Prince Slayer or whatever it's called wasn't available) -> Silence (Very minor upgrade, just inferior to the Ivory) -> Ivory -> Lv. 61 Swords
So skipping/modifying my bad steps gave me the progression I mentioned above.
In all honesty, Fiona's armor steps are very similar to a Lann's. They share most of the important sets (Spider Lord, Swift/BH/Ingkells). So any Lann guide should be easily adapted for Fiona usage. This is just for future reference of course.

For armour, definitely Spider Lord at 40, followed up by Laghodessa Slayer OR Blood Lord (if affordability is a problem, Ferghus's Technique will give you the Light Melca set). At 52, you COULD opt for the Royal Cadet set, but some people consider that to be more of a downgrade compared to the Laghodessa Slayer set.
A decently enhanced Laghodessa Slayer set (+5/+6) could theoretically last you until 56 when you get the Shining Will set, which will then last you to 61 when you start to minmax the various 61 sets. Depending on the stats you're after, you'll be looking at various combinations of Ingkells, Swift, Black Hammer, Chiulin, Lorica or even Raiders. The most combination is 2 pieces Swift, 3 pieces Black Hammer but look at what works for you; look for a trade off between price, functionality, and what you think looks good.
As for weapons, right now you should be using either the Dual Faced King or the Armadillo, depending on whether you use Sword or Hammer.
If you're using Sword, the next sword you'd want is either the Ainle Longsword: the Blood Prince Slayer, which is the upgraded Ainle Longsword. Alternately, you can use the Nightmare which is unlocked via Blood Lord. Either one of those should last you adequately until you get the Ivory Longsword.
If you're using Hammer, you should definitely get the Stigma, which will last you until the Ivory Long Hammer. You could opt to get a Barnacle or a Crasher in between, but a sufficiently enhanced Stigma would render both of them useless.
Edit: it took me so long to post this post, I got ninja'd many times. While the Hammer info here is irrelevant, I'll leave it in case someone else may find it useful.
As far as shields go, small shields have it pretty easy. Use Eagle Heart until you unlock the Slit Plate shield, and then switch to that one because it is extremely underrated and a very good shield. Ewynsoch shield is negligible as it only really provides a marginal def boost and a significant AGI boost, but use it if you find one. Get the Knight shield at 52, and then after that it's your choice. at 61, look into the Fomor Commander shield, any of the Jirkal small shields, or the Save the Queen if money is an issue. If you're not afraid to spend, look into the Raider's small shield or the Chiulin battle shield.
Large shields... well, there's not much to talk about here, it's more or less a linear progression. Kite shield at 42, Horn shield at 50, then any of the large shields at 61. Grand Cross for defense, Raiders large shield for offense (but it will cost you!!), and Jirkal or Chiulin for a balance of the two.

Spider Lord isn't a very cost effective upgrade from Erg River. Only get it if you have the money and really want the title early on.
Jump to Laghodessa.

Jump to Laghodessa.
The problem being, you'll need Spider Lord in order to craft Laghodessa. I was writing for if you were to craft everything yourself, though I am not exactly sure how the prices compare.

Prices schmices.
Just some of your accumulated powder and you'll be able to afford Lagho no problem.
