Which armor upgrade should I go with?

I'm probably going to rank Defence along the next few weeks or so, but I don't think I will have the new armor ready for these upgrades real soon.

So I was considering among these:

210 (highest defence, Defense +11 Protection +4, Durability -8)
210-3 (Defense +10 Protection +4, Durability -3)
170 (Defense +10 Protection +2, Durability +2)
170 (Defense +9 Protection +2, Durability +7)

My armor does not have PD (Melka Chain Mail, store bought), and it has the Defensive/Oak enchant and 24 durability.

So...my question is whether I should go with something like 170. My 14 durability light armor (initially 19 durability) has lasted me for a really long time (more than 1 year) but I'm a little picky when it comes to durability.

With my current choice of missions I need at least 30 (ideally 40 defence) to get through with little damage from the statues. I'm ranking up defence for this purpose (current is R8). I'm considering to use a shield at the very worst but I don't think I can easily get R9 Guard enchant...

Protection doesn't really matter so much to me as I don't PVP, I guess?

Go for the highest defense one. Tanking at it's best :D You'll have at least 42 defense :O(after getting R1)

Little difference. It's only 1 or 2 damage, which is basically nothing.

If you take your armor off when you don't use it, 16 durability at repairing 98% lasts for a very long time. By the time you need a new one from completely breaking it, you probably rich enough to afford a much better one.

I don't see a big difference from surface enhancement 4 though...

I guess I'm probably going for the best anyway, I'm just hoping 16 durability will last long enough.

At the rate I'm dying from the hard mode missions, I won't make it through without service unless I reach 40-50 defence...
