I think it's bit defender, but I can't figure out how to disable it other than in the task manager and then I get an "ACCESS DENIED" error
I'm not sure if that's what causing it, but since I just starting using it, it's my initial thought.

HackShield error 0x00010301(66305) "detected hooking action towards protection API"
This means something is trying to hook into either one of the hackshield or maple processes. If you are 100% sure it isn't your security software it's either something in windows causing it or far more likely, you have some kind of malware. Alot of malware attempts to hook into any running processes, and obviously since you aren't -deliberately- running them, you can't set exceptions to prevent them. They may also hide themselves or run as services which makes them harder to spot. May I know what antivirus your using?
