Unless someone wants to donate some gold to you, you can only get it from posting.
Each post gives an amount of gold depending on how long it is and where it is you're posting.

Posting News topics gives a bit more gold than others, and I think posting guides do as well. Certain sections give more than others, and some give none at all.
