[SIZE="2"]The final step in our transition from Guru has come back faster than any of us predicted. As you may have seen or heard, Itchy ended up showing up sooner than expected. So what happened? Well, I want to be honest with our community, since all of you deserve that much and more for being with us.
So, Itchy ended up appearing out of nowhere, but with such a crazy move, how can one be surprised? Regardless, even with our whole staff ready to talk to him, he wanted to talk to me privately. So we did. We discussed the state of Guru, we talked about him keeping secrets, and other things. But amongst all that conversation, Itchy let me know that he is a business man. He apologized for leaving us in such a manner, and wished us the best in our new community.
However, that being said, I had to come to an agreement, being that it is his website. He asked if I could remove the threads stating our move, he said he plans to continue Guru running on it's own. He told me he would not be shutting it down till the traffic that Guru receives no longer supports the website itself, as it is his investment. However, that was fair enough, as I let him know I am going to take all my staff with me, along with the community base that we have come to know and love with us now.
So steps 2 and 3 are no longer necessary in my announcement, we are here now. We are no longer a part of Guru, but our own community MabiNation, that profits not with money, but the experiences and memories we can share. I can't blame a guy for wanting to make a buck, but that is not what we are about here.
That all being said, the move is now over. Guru is now run by Itchy alone, and Nation is run by all of us here! If there are any old guides or threads you feel you may want to copy over, please feel free to do so, this includes important guides you feel left by now inactive members, be sure to credit them! There will be late-comers still on Guru who do not know of our communities move, and to make sure that everyone knows you may send them a quiet message. Essentially Guru is our competition now, and we have to show it that we are the strongest community.. or Nation? Oh yes that's right, we are a Nation. Let's make this place better than could have ever been imagined at Guru. Woo Hoo!

That being said, this is good for our members here because it means you guys have plenty of time to move your guides and favorite posts over!
I just have to kindly ask that you avoid posting on Guru. If you see a new member looking for help or trying to sell something, just send them a PM and let them know we are all over here now. Remember that every time you visit Guru, Itchy makes money. That is why we moved. We are not here for him to profit off of us, and going around Guru again would defeat the purpose.
Without staff, it will soon be overrun by bots and trolls anyway.

Well I supposed that was to be expected. But I doubt that guru can support itself for much longer with most of us gone.

It's sad that he actually acknowledged that he was using the mabi-community. That said, I'm glad the move was made and support this nation in full :3

It's kind of sad not to be able to go on guru now :\
It was the first forum I ever got used to.. and not having it open in my browser constantly feels weird, even though we have nation now.

Kind of expected this,
he shouldn't really mind the move.
Guru is to add pennies in his banks, not his main source of income

You can do as you wish, I don't want to enforce anyone doing this or that. Your always welcome here, but if there is something you want to do at Guru, then it is fine to do as you like.

Well it's the people I really care about. But it's just breaking out of a habit I've had for a long time o3o.
Not that I'd want to go back if I knew that people here wouldn't be posting there anyways ):

...Yay! Mabiguru was also my first forum I ever visited and became a great and active part of. I'm going to miss it, but it's time to move on.
