Quote from Araria;723330:
It all started with the birth of Christianity.
Fairly sure there were a few before. Like most if not all of Hinduism. Or Zoroastrianism. Or whatever.

There was indeed. Pagan as-well.
But Christianity is still the major religion that seemed to start it all, even if it wasn't the first.

Oh, no, I agree. I was just sayin'.
It wasn't the first, but it
was the first to start the big domino affect of hate/false judgment/hypocrisy/etc.
Not to mention it influenced others to come up with their own religions.

Hmmm, I used to care about religion but now I don't. Good for them I guess. If they want to pray to some file sharing God that clearly does not exist, then so be it. If a file sharing God existed, computers would have been created long ago.

I feel it would just bring greater attention to one's name and make one more likely to be punished for being within the religion, and I can't help but feel that it may indeed be used that way.
Still, I want to make my own religion. I need to get around to writing my Dark Book, which will just be a twisted retelling of the Bible but with a very different story, and my tenants.
