  Judging by reactions on the Nexon EU forums, around 10 characters have been struck so far. Blackrobing hits extra hard, given how small the community is (estimated 700 active characters on Morrighan, 100 on Macha). Kind of odd that the server isn't taken offline until it's fixed.

  By the sounds of it, Mabinogi EU was completely out of the loop of communication between NA, KR, JP, and TW mabi.

  Small update:
  Around 20 characters have been blackrobed by now. Shortly after the emergency maintenance, the server has gone down again. Rumor has it that a hacker has crashed it, as hacks such as meteor (which have been in use for weeks) are still functioning.
