I was afk reading an article and flipped back to see the channel down. I had better not have lost anything from them taking the server down. They force log outs to save characters when they intentionally take the servers down right?

  Just because you don't see it happening doesn't mean it's not. I never saw any black tents or people randomly disappearing, but I knew it was happening.
  
  People have been duping bugles for a while now. Like, a long while. I also saw 100k upgrade stones... a week+ ago? When I asked about how many the person had, they answered with "As many as you need."
  
  The dupe was posted on a pretty popular modding/hacking site yesterday, yes, but it's obvious people have been doing this quite a bit for much longer than yesterday or today. Who knows how many guilds shared it with their members or how many private forums/chats it was leaked onto?
  
  Don't think I'm shooting you down or anything, because I'm not. I just don't want people to think this is something new that just recently popped up or something.
  
  Anyway, Nexon did pull the servers pretty quickly. This isn't as severe as the blackrobing, but it can turn into a huge problem really fast considering how things have been lately.

  Nexon doesn't have to do that. We all know that every single one of you crying compensation would still play the game even if they didn't give you anything.

  I could use another 5k nx or a DR owo

  Each server has its own...hardcore baddies. Alexina's are typically the least nasty of the bunch so its not surprising that you didn't see alot of it. I wonder about that warning we got over a week ago about someone about to release some very very bad hacks. If this keeps up Devcat is going to have to rewrite the game engine into something secure...doubt they will spend that kind of money.

  Server don't matter when someone just leaks it to the public on some website. Of course, this means that it will be fixed that noone can use those methods. Hurts in the short run, but is good for the long run.
  
  Re-writing the game at this point seems a bit too much work for now. They probably should do something about pake, but I am guessing that it is very difficult.
