Why is that so expensive? I see wooden needle burns for 1.5mil yet the plate cannon is 5 mil, that seems a bit overpriced doesnt it?

Cannon is 11 dur, Wooden Needle is r8. You need to go rA step->r9 step->Wooden Needle, which could potentially blow up the Cannon before you can use it. The r9 step is relatively hard to find, so that's another reason why it's expensive.

Yeah, the R9 enchant alone is around 1M, and burning off the ES for Needle is risky too since it has 25% chance to fail even with the best enchanters. Plus, it is the best current glove enchant since it gives both damage and crit, and it heavily benefits melee characters.

1) Wooden Needle is good for melee/archers. It is the best prefix for gloves.
2) Wooden Needle is kind of rare, and it is r8.
3) r9 step-up is a pain to get. Silver Fox or that Bear enchant.
4) Low % rates, and failing usually means you start over.
5) High demand.

The r9 enchant is the main reason that it costs so much. If you bought just a Burgundy Bear Plate Cannon, you could spend 4m+. A Silver Fox Plate Cannon would run you even more, since it can also be used for a -dex set. The value increase from the r9 step to the WN Plate Cannon is pretty slim, though it's still a large enough increase to make it a WN and sell it instead of keeping it Burgundy Bear/Silver Fox and selling it. :v

Looks like the price of this item is on par with where I play at.
Rank 9+ enchants carry some risk on enchanting (because of the 50%+ success rates)....
This is Rank 8, and on top of that the Rank 9 step enchant is also expensive, about 1 million for the burns and 800k for enchant scroll only if you are lucky to find someone selling this low.
That's why it's expensive.
