Steam download's Suspended.

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Recently I've been trying to re-download Cod4. Since then I've been getting this annoying error or something about the download pausing because it was "Suspended". How do I get Steam to stop this because I would like to re-play Cod4.

Here are some basic unit's of my system. I will update with more later tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure that Steam only "Suspends" your games when you start up to play a steam game. It stops the download and you have to alttab back to the desktop and resume the download. If its just randomly suspending your games, maybe just restart Steam?

It also doesn't help that there is an amazing sale going on, so everyone is downloading. :P

I tried restartign steam, it could be that second reason =/
