Cleaning dust off a graphics card?

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. So I just finished cleaning the inside of my computer, but one thing I had trouble with was the graphics card. There was a very very thin but visible layer of small dust particles sitting all over the card and the compressed air can I was using refused to blow it off. I wiped my finger on some of it and it came off easily, but I'm afraid of touching all the little metal pins on it since I don't want to mess anything up.

I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 btw.
