Speakers making static noise

  Specifically if the sub-woofers are over the speakers. The static noise seems to cease if the sub-woofer is near the same level height as the speakers though at a certain distance. However I cannot use that solution because, well, something else is there. So I can't really place my sub-woofer there, does anyone know the cause for this problem though?

  its probably the cable. i can only recommend you take it apart and see if the cable is properly connected. Also check the whole cable length for a possible damaged zone, if you find it, cut that part off and reconnect the cable. Don't forget to tape it off once you finish

  No, though there is a router, and a giant box thingy that comes with the router, and a phone stand thingy next to it. Though I am sure those aren't the cause because at my old apartment, the speakers were making the static sounds even though it was away from the hardware I listed.
