I will start at where I am so far, so here are some minor details of progress :
• Character - Misaka (Yes, I ripped that name off of To Aru no Kagaku no Railgun / Majutsu no Index. It's been my latest obsession since Negima!). She is a Loli Sheriff.
• I am using a handful of mods including an overhaul known as FOOK 2.
• I have a random companion dude who joined me at Megaton, don't even know how I got him to join me, and a random dog named K-9. Would have preferred Dog Meat.
• Fought against some tough Talon Company Unique character called "Lieutenant Something", who dropped me what I'm presuming to be a Mod Unique machine gun called "Warthog".
• Random Alienship Exploded in the skies while I was exploring and dropped me a Firelance gun and some Ammo.
• Found a dead Chinese Commando with a sword in front of a Supermarket. Lolwut?
• Was on my way to Rivet City to find more information about where to find my Dad.

I "Rescued" a Captive. (I took the free stuff he gave me, but then he fell into my trap of a frag mine I left down the road for him.
