I got a new DSi today.

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

Ish k. Nice white R4 though. Have ya heard of the Wood R4 firmware yet? It's this new firmware made by Wood Goblin for original R4 carts(working on clones) that bypasses almost every game's anti-piracy and the skins are much more nicer :)

Meh it looks like they took the Acekard GUI and put it on a R4.
I'll stick to the original firmware.
Plan on Getting a DSi XL and a Acekard 2i someday.

Well I don't think you're supposed to update it and I'm pretty sure some FlashCarts get firmware updates so they can work with the latest DSi firmware.

Pirating helps remakes. They make remakes because a game get's pirated too much. Like Chrono Trigger it got pirated a lot because it was a popular game and then the game came to the DS which helped Square Enix in sales.
But then you could always pirate the DS version....
