They might also be monitoring nighttime activity to see if something else happens, whether new or otherwise. Most of these inconveniences have been happening during evening/nighttime hours.

Hm, possibly. Though it's only happening on mabinogi's site and it seems it's stopped now. Oh well time to start some scans.
